How old do I have to be to participate in YOUMUN?
YOUMUN was designed specifically for High School students (grades 9-12), who must be 14 years or older and less than 19 years of age in order to participate.
When does delegate registration open?
Delegates can register in YOUMUN as soon as the early registration opens on the 30th May 2022.
When is the deadline for YOUMUN registration?
The early deadline for YOUMUN registration is the 10th of June 2022, whereas the late deadline (extra fees will be included) is the 17th of June 2022.
How can delegates register for YOUMUN?
All registration must be done through the advisors of each participating school by filling out the form in the "Registration" section of the website. Regarding whole cohort registrations, when filling out the form, it is imperative that advisors inform the exact number of delegates that will be participating in the conference.
Can I apply to YOUMUN as an individual delegation?
Yes, students are more than welcome to sign up for YOUMUN as individual delegations. In order to do so, they must fill in the Individual Delegation Registration form, including the contact of a school official, parent or legal guardian.
Are schools allowed to select the countries they wish to represent?
In order to ensure a fair distribution of country assignments, schools will not be allowed to choose their own countries.

YOUMUN has two separate deadlines for position paper submissions. The earliest deadline, June 22nd, at 23:59 UTC is optional and meant for delegates who wish to receive feedback from the chairs as well as qualify for position paper awards. The final deadline, June 24th, at 23:59 UTC is mandatory for all participating delegates and the failure to submit will result in ineligibility for awards.
